Software Engineer in Test - Remote

Persado is looking for a Software Engineer in Test to join our talented team of engineers! If QA is your passion we will be glad to hear from you!

In Short

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Communicate with internal teams (e.g. developers and business analysts) to help identify missing requirements.
• Estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities for your projects.
• Develop comprehensive and well-structured Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Execute functional and non-functional tests (manual or automated).
• Develop automated Test Cases based on automation frameworks built in-house.
• Perform thorough automated regression testing, analyze results and troubleshoot failures.
• Identify, document and track issues in Jira.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of working experience in Software Testing Automation, using known testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Selenium / WebDriver, Playwright.
• Knowledge of OOP languages like Java/Groovy/C#.
• University degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
• Experience working with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Understanding of testing frameworks like TestNG, Junit, Spock or Serenity.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Travis or GitLab CI would be considered a plus.
• Understanding of Spring Java Enterprise Framework would be considered a plus.
• ISTQB certification foundation level would be a plus.
• Knowledge in Agile/Scrum would be a plus.
• Willing to innovate, learn and share knowledge.
• Solid analytical thinker and problem solver.
• Self-driven, responsible, taking ownership.
• Comfortable working in a flat company structure with a proactive goal-oriented attitude.
• Embraces and promotes QA mindset.
