Overview

The Professional Services team at Perforce is searching for a Professional Services Engineer to join the team. This role involves understanding customer needs, managing implementations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and support.

In Short

• Accountable for delivering various consulting engagements.
• Support Sales efforts as a Delphix Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
• Improve Services Offerings by integrating field observations.
• Drive customer time-to-value (TTV).
• Review and produce technical documentation and procedures.
• Assess customer bug and enhancement requests.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of Professional Services.
• Utilize scripting skills to contribute to internal tools.
• Foster and maintain a strong culture of delighting customers.

Requirements

• Experience with SQL Server or Oracle DBMS.
• Cloud experience in either AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Proven enterprise software install and configuration skills.
• Scripting experience in Bash, Powershell, Python, or Perl.
• UNIX/LINUX or Windows Sysadmin skills.
• Experience with software development methodologies.
• Ability to identify issues and risks proactively.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
• Talent for solving problems and providing world-class support.
• Experience with remote reporting relationships.
