Overview

Perch Energy is a leading community solar servicer on a mission to make renewable energy more accessible and equitable for all. They are seeking an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to building an industry-leading Community Solar platform.

In Short

Designs, develops, and maintains complex applications.
Identifies when to use configuration vs. code to solve a problem.
Develops unit tests and ensures code coverage that accurately tests business logic and functionality.
Participates in developing specifications for epics and user stories.
Solves or recommends solutions for complex issues and problems.
Documents designs, issues, solutions as needed.
Collaborates within the Agile framework to foster a team approach.
Engages in improving software delivery through DevOps and Agile practices.
Stays current in new Salesforce and related technologies.
Writes performant code with consideration for Salesforce governor limits.

Requirements

3+ years of building Salesforce applications (Apex, Lighting Web Components, JavaScript, and CSS).
Knowledge of declarative development on the Salesforce platform.
API development and integration experience.
Salesforce certifications are a plus.
Experience with Salesforce CI/CD pipelines are a plus.
