Senior Manager, Development - National Corporate Accounts - Remote

Overview

You will play a key role on our national development team with responsibilities in corporate relations, corporate engagement, grant writing, and organizational storytelling for prospects and companies in our national funding portfolio.

In Short

• Identify and research national corporate funding prospects.
• Support relationships with major national corporate funders.
• Synthesize national program information for corporate funders.
• Help prepare for and attend funder meetings.
• Continuously track and monitor opportunities and deadlines.
• Maintain detailed records of conversations with potential funders.
• Coordinate with communications staff to publicize grants.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience) required.
• 2-4 years of grant writing or general development experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and copy editing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proven research abilities and funder prospecting experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Google Apps.
• Capacity to attend key external meetings as needed.
