Trading & Investing Contract Editor - Remote

Overview

Investopedia is seeking an experienced editor to update educational trading and investing content. We are looking for a sharp finance editor who can edit (and possibly write) articles with excellent accuracy, style, and tone.

In Short

• 20 to 25 hours a week
• Start date: 8/27/2024
• End date: 6 months with potential to extend
• Hourly Rate: $40 - 50
• Location: Remote - US
• Edit, fact check, and/or copy edit well-sourced articles
• Execute on brand and AP style guidelines
• Collaborate with freelance writers
• Conduct original reporting and/or writing
• Experience with Datawrapper and/or TradingView preferred

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in publishing in finance
• Exceptional editing judgment and skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Google Analytics, SEO, and CMS skills required
• Knowledge of technical analysis preferred
