Junior Portfolio Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Junior Portfolio Assistant will support the Servicing team in managing SBA loan portfolios, ensuring compliance and assisting with servicing processes.

In Short

• Conduct post-closing reviews on SBA loan files.
• Process servicing actions following SBA procedures.
• Monitor and maintain SBA loan portfolios.
• Assist with annual loan reviews.
• Support collection efforts by reviewing collateral.
• Respond to borrower inquiries regarding loans.
• Track past-due and maturing loans.
• Prepare deferment requests for approval.
• Maintain accurate borrower correspondence logs.
• Generate reports for senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (preferred).
• 2-4 years of experience in banking, preferably with lending experience.
• SBA experience is not required; training will be provided.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
