Remote Pilot Operator

Overview

PenBay Technology Group is looking for motivated, computer-savvy individuals to work as Remote Pilot Operators. No aviation experience is required, but helpful. Experience as a computer operator, RPO, air traffic control specialist, or (student) pilot is highly desirable.

In Short

• Position involves operating a combination of CRT/keyboard/VCS for training exercises.
• Receive voice commands and input entries into the automated system.
• Translate displayed information into ATC terminology.
• Respond to students using proper phraseology.
• No UAS/UAV/RPV pilot experience required.
• Full-time position.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have at least one year of experience in a comparable position.
• Exceptional customer service orientation is a must.
• Must achieve laboratory certification within 120 days.

Requirements

• Demonstrated keyboard speed of 40 wpm with 90% accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite is desirable.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
• Must pass FAA security screening.
• Ability to work productively with diverse individuals.
• Effective team building skills.
