Junior Print Designer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for you as a Junior Print Designer in full or part-time! If you prefer not to work remotely, you can find your new workplace in the heart of Bismarckviertel in Augsburg or surrounded by nature in Bergkirchen near Dachau.

In Short

• Analyze various newspaper layouts and derive and implement corresponding layout templates.
• Create and manage layout templates with our in-house software PRINT and ASSIST.
• Accompany and advise our clients in the layout template creation.
• Further develop existing editorial designs for various print newspapers considering automation, the use of AI tools, and digital-first workflows.
• Individualize our standard templates for our clients, including adapting the testing system.
• Replicate various newspaper layouts using our software to support the sales department.
• Independent internal and external stakeholder management.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or degree in print and media technology, media communication, communication design, digital media & print, interactive media, media design, or similar.
• You share our passion for good newspaper design and well-made (local) newspapers.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, focusing on InDesign and Photoshop.
• High service orientation and a desire to make our clients happy while keeping the company's goals in mind.
• Very good sense of typography and print media while also considering systematized digital workflows.
• Conceptually strong work, a design eye for details, and a high quality standard.
• First experience with content management systems.
• Fluent German language skills in spoken and written (minimum B2).
