Application Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The PayPay Card Product Security team is seeking Application Security (AppSec) engineers to work with our development teams on maintaining the security of our services.

In Short

• Work closely with Security Champions and teams on implementation of security best practices
• Support development teams throughout Secure SDLC
• Introduce systemic improvements to software security
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security best practices
• Assist in threat modeling of existing and upcoming products and systems
• Train and mentor staff on security best practices
• Maintain automated systems for assessing current security status
• Adapt to fast-paced environments with changing priorities
• Collaborate with diverse teams
• Drive challenges to conclusion

Requirements

• 3+ years of product security experience
• Experience leading projects in product and DevOps security
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Japanese is a plus
