Local Finance Officer - Remote

Overview

The Local Finance Officer will lead the financial operations for PayDo, a leading Electronic Money Institution, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations while supporting the company's strategic goals.

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and IFRS.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial roles within FinTech.
• Experience with MFSA licensing.
• Expertise in regulatory reporting and compliance.
• Understanding of payment systems and electronic money operations.
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian/Russian; Maltese is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• Professional certifications like CPA, CFA, or ACCA are a plus.
