DevOps Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

The DevOps Automation Engineer will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure system performance and reliability.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
• Manage cloud infrastructure with AWS, Azure, and GCP through Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor system performance and reliability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks using scripting languages like Bash and Python.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices in the infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment and performance strategies.
• Support the development and maintenance of the data platform (Data Lake).
• Provide technical support and mentorship to data teams.
• Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis (optional).
• Contribute to internal documentation and process improvements (optional).

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of system architecture, networking, and security principles.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
