Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

This is a mid-level position for a Systems Engineering role on the Device Engineering team at Headspin. We are building tools to automate, instrument, and ultimately enable remote control of mobile devices.

In Short

• Support efforts to deliver a first-class mobile device cloud.
• Build products and contribute to features for testing mobile apps.
• Write mobile applications leveraging supported device frameworks.
• Dive into disassembled code to understand proprietary device services.
• Collaborate on researching mobile device software ecosystems.
• Develop novel products beyond off-the-shelf tooling.
• Diagnose customer issues and strengthen the product.
• Work in a team-wide collaborative environment.
• Understand operating systems internals deeply.
• Not an app development role.

Requirements

• Experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong understanding of mobile device internals.
• Proficiency in debugging systems.
• Experience with back-end services development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Comfortable with both high-level and low-level programming.
• Experience with mobile application development.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Familiarity with device frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
