Senior Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

This is a senior position for a Systems Engineering role on the Device Engineering team at Headspin. We are building tools to automate, instrument, and ultimately enable remote control of mobile devices.

In Short

• Support efforts to deliver a first-class mobile device cloud.
• Build products and contribute to features for testing mobile apps.
• Comfortable writing mobile applications and diving into disassembled code.
• Collaborate to research mobile device software ecosystems.
• Develop novel products that extend the capabilities of existing tools.
• Diagnose customer issues and strengthen the product based on findings.
• Work with real devices in a virtualized interactive environment.
• Not an app development role; requires deep understanding of OS internals.
• Enable mobile software development teams to achieve their best work.

Requirements

• Experience in Systems Engineering.
• Strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of mobile device frameworks.
• Ability to work with back-end services.
• Understanding of operating systems internals.
• Experience with mobile applications development.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
