Senior Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Glassdoor, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving many of Glassdoor’s core IT infrastructure systems, contributing to the design and operation of production and service infrastructure.

In Short

• Execute systems engineering activities on complex systems.
• Manage operational initiatives for network architecture and infrastructure.
• Optimize collaboration and communication platforms.
• Build and manage cloud-based application and corporate IT service infrastructure.
• Implement cloud security solutions in partnership with Security Engineering.
• Administer tools and automation to improve efficiency.
• Work with the Information Security team to secure the environment.
• Design comprehensive monitoring strategies for corporate infrastructure.
• Support day-to-day operations for production services.
• Evaluate and manage emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience managing Atlassian servers.
• Experience with Okta, Active Directory, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom.
• Experience with network technology and protocols.
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks is a plus.
• Strong experience with Windows server OS.
• Automation using scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.

Benefits

• Base Salary Range: $93,000 - $123,000.
• Annual Bonus Target: 10%.
