Lead Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview

Parsons is looking for a QA Automation Lead (C# & .NET) to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. This role can be based anywhere in the United States.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using .NET frameworks.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Develop SQL scripts for data validation and backend testing.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
• Stay updated with best practices in test automation.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Utilize test automation tools like Selenium and NUnit.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Document and track software defects using a bug-tracking system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Tester with .NET technologies.
• Thorough understanding of C# and .NET frameworks.
• Experience with SQL Server and writing complex queries.
• Familiarity with test automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
