Executive Underwriter – Film & TV - Remote

Overview

The Executive Underwriter – Film & TV role is fully remote, and the position will operate on Pacific Standard time hours. This position involves managing and underwriting a portfolio of studio and large blanket Film and Television accounts.

• Manage and underwrite an existing portfolio of Film and Television accounts.
• Work independently and liaise with program managers.
• Review and evaluate quote submissions and analyze data.
• Create and issue manuscript policies.
• Oversee cast medical underwriting and coverage terms.
• Coordinate fronting policies in other countries.
• Manage Self Insured Retentions.
• Gather data and produce reports for internal and external sources.
• Train and mentor other underwriters.
• Attend client and broker meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Film and Television underwriting experience.
• Expertise in various insurance policies.
• Full knowledge of cast medical underwriting.
• Proficient in managing Self-Insured Retention programs.
• Ability to manage complex accounts.
• Detail-oriented with effective time management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
• Mentorship capabilities.
