In Short

• Build out the construction vertical book of business from the ground up.
• Utilize AI-powered underwriting tools for evaluating and pricing insurance.
• Prepare and develop premium quotations within letter of authority.
• Determine underwriting eligibility and develop appropriate pricing.
• Analyze and review prospective accounts for insurability.
• Develop and manage agency relationships.
• Address agents’ and policyholders’ concerns/needs.
• Responsible for new business development and retention.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years experience as an underwriter in Workers Compensation.
• Advanced judgment skills in evaluating pricing for policyholders.
• Ability to manage agency relationships effectively.
• Ability to calculate expected pricing and premium quotations.
• Ability to analyze territory and identify problems.
