Overview

The Lead Analytics Engineer drives scalable data solutions, enabling actionable insights and strategic business decisions across the company. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities by leading high-impact initiatives, mentoring the analytics team, and shaping data strategy.

• Design, optimize, and scale end-to-end data pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure for analytics.
• Own data integration, transformation, and modeling processes.
• Lead implementation of dbt, Looker, and other modern analytics tools.
• Define and enforce standards for data modeling and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for architecture decisions.
• Lead complex initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Set project direction and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor data analysts and analytics engineers.
• Collaborate with leadership for alignment with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and business impact through data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• 1+ years in senior-level roles with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in cloud-native environments (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Expert in SQL, Python, and modern analytics tools.
• Strong experience in data modeling and ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency with Looker or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of data governance and quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with machine learning pipelines is a plus.
