Overview

PAR Technology Corporation is looking for a Customer Experience Technician to join our growing team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

In Short

  • Be the face of PAR service excellence for our customers.
  • Provide quality support, responsiveness, and customer care.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair units and networks at the customer site.
  • Manage company inventory of parts required to maintain customer equipment.
  • Provide ongoing training to customers regarding POS operations.
  • Respond to customer calls in accordance with established Service Level Agreements.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Potential travel outside your coverage area may be required.
  • Flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed.
  • Deliver a WOW experience at each customer visit.

Requirements

  • Customer and quality focused with a passion for service.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in troubleshooting microprocessor-based equipment.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and make quick decisions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to customers.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Clean driver’s license required.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work with ladders.
  • Familiarity with network cabling and AC power.
  • Ability to utilize DOS commands for software reimages.
