Overview

We are looking for a motivated System Administrator to be part of our engineering team at Papers, focusing on the stability and scalability of our infrastructure.

In Short

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure server infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
• Manage and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Use Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Configure and manage Nginx servers.
• Ensure robust backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.
• Monitor infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Participate in pager-duty rotations for uptime assurance.
• Collaborate with development teams for seamless integration.

Requirements

• Apprenticeship as a Computer Scientist or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu.
• Strong experience with GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ansible.
• Good understanding of GCP services.
• Experience with Nginx.
• Knowledge of backup strategies and tools.
• Experience with monitoring tools.
• Fluency in English.
