DevOps Engineer - Remote

Papers is a software engineering company focused on innovative web3 products, seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and improve their infrastructure.

• Fully remote position.
• Manage Linux-based infrastructure (Ubuntu).
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI).
• Set up and optimize Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Automate infrastructure management with tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement and monitor cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
• Collaborate with backend engineers for integration and delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotations for critical services.
• Continuously improve automation and reduce manual tasks.
• Work independently in a technically-minded team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
• Proficient in Linux/Ubuntu system administration.
• Comfortable with Docker and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiar with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Self-driven and pragmatic.
