Database Architect - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Database Architect to lead the newly established Data Team at Deutsche Messe AG in Hannover. You will play a key role in building a new ecosystem for analyzing customer and corporate data.

In Short

• Responsible for designing and building company-wide relational database architectures.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to choose technologies for innovative architecture.
• Drive data-driven business development and prepare data landscapes for AI and BI tools.
• Improve database performance through enhancement concepts and data management optimization.
• Document the database architecture and model the business data structure.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of relational database architectures like SQL databases.
• Experience in modeling business data structures.
• Initial experience in coordinating (agile) IT projects and technical documentation.
• Solution-oriented with a hands-on mentality and good communication skills.
