Consulting Director, Incident Recovery Operations - Remote

Overview

The Consulting Director will play a critical role in assisting customers with rebuilding, recovering, and restoring their computing and networking environments following security incidents.

In Short

• Lead recovery operations for cybersecurity incidents.
• Guide customers through implementing security best practices.
• Collaborate with external recovery partners.
• Communicate technical risks and recovery strategies to stakeholders.
• Identify project status, risks, and issues.
• Provide after-hours support as needed.
• Travel to customer locations within EMEA.
• Develop processes for safe system restoration.
• Oversee third-party vendors during recovery activities.
• Support the customer and business with additional tasks.

Requirements

• 10+ years in IT or network administration.
• 3+ years managing security solutions in enterprises.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Calm under pressure in high-stress situations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.
• Prior consulting experience preferred.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Experience with incident response and digital forensics.
• Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
