Systems Designer II - Remote

Overview

The System Designer II will provide design, engineering, modeling, drafting, and budgeting support for projects throughout the organization, across all North American Geographies.

In Short

• Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and perform detailed designs for Low Voltage technology systems.
• Attend and host meetings, taking and distributing accurate notes.
• Develop project budgets and technical design requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate budgets using technical estimating resources.
• Perform electronic takeoffs using Bluebeam software.
• Create technology systems flow line diagrams and develop various diagrams.
• Manage assigned projects including billing and schedule management.
• Provide supplemental Peer Reviews of designs prepared by others.
• Participate in kickoff meetings to support project transitions.
• Provide support for existing or potential customers professionally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of design experience in the security industry.
• 5+ years of experience in the low voltage or technology industries.
• Competency in software platforms like AutoCAD and Revit.
• RCDD, CTS, PSP or other Low Voltage Design Certifications preferred.
• Strong communication and soft skills.
