Medical Director (Value-Based Care) - Remote

Overview

As a Medical Director at Pair Team, you will play a critical role in supervising and supporting our team of Nurse Practitioners (NPs), owning the development and implementation of clinical policies and protocols, and collaborating closely with our Population Health team to ensure excellent outcomes for underserved communities.

• Lead and supervise our team of Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
• Ensure Pair Team achieves its value-based cost-of-care and HEDIS targets.
• Serve as a key clinical leader, bridging clinical expertise with operational needs.
• Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to inform clinical strategy.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex clinical questions.
• Own and cultivate relationships with health plans and community organizations.

Requirements

• Board certification in Family or Internal Medicine as a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• 5+ years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability to develop and implement clinical protocols.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• A passion for serving vulnerable populations.
• Experience in telehealth or technology-enabled care delivery models is a plus.
