Overview

Our client is a tech-focused accounting firm, specialising in helping small business to thrive and scale by offering a full service finance function.

In Short

• Maintain accurate financial records and process transactions.
• Assist with GST calculations and BAS lodgments.
• Manage payroll functions and compliance with payroll laws.
• Utilize Xero and other accounting software for invoicing.
• Support in preparing tax returns and financial statements.
• Ensure data security and manage client financial records.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Generate financial reports for business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Australian tax and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the Australian accounting team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
• XERO certified in bookkeeping and payroll.
• Strong knowledge of BAS and IAS preparation.
• Capable of managing multiple client accounts.
• Experience with commission reconciliation is an advantage.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Xero, as well as MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
