In Short

• Handle line management duties for engineers in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) squad responsible for our AWS based cloud platform.
• Support our Commercial team to service our Enterprise customers with specific needs on data residency and compliance status.
• Hold regular 1-on-1s with your engineers to continue to support their development and help them work through any blockers or challenges.
• Enable company to reach its goals by innovating, building and operating the cloud platform reliably and efficiently.
• Promote engineering excellence, establish key metrics, and drive continuous operational improvements.
• Provide leadership for team initiatives by coordinating the work and facilitating stakeholder discussions.
• Work with other engineering leaders to promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other engineering managers on leading the teams and clarifying vision and goals.
• Create hiring plans and participate in recruitment to attract and retain the best talent.

Requirements

• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud platforms.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing engineering teams.
• Understanding of data residency and compliance requirements.
• Ability to promote engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in recruitment and talent management.
