Overview

The Software Development Intern is responsible for building and maintaining our website, currently built using WordPress. This position is remote, requiring effective communication and collaboration.

• Assist in completing a WordPress website that is 90% done.
• Clean up page designs and fix bugs.
• Drive the project to completion with effective communication.
• Contribute to building and maintaining a website from scratch.
• Document code and user requirements.

• This is an unpaid internship.
• Commitment required through the summer and fall semesters.

Requirements

• Current student in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience with WordPress development.
• Solid knowledge of PHP and JavaScript.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Able to work remotely and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Google Workspace experience preferred.
• Portfolio of previous work required.
• Must be authorized to intern in the U.S.
• Ability to attend organization-wide and tech meetings.
