Support Specialist Finance - Remote

Overview

We are an established software company with over 40 years of market experience, developing powerful ERP solutions for commercial processes. We are looking for a skilled individual with experience in financial accounting and interest in ERP systems to join our support team.

In Short

• First and second-level support for our ERP software focusing on financial accounting and payroll.
• Analyze, classify, and process support requests in the ticket system.
• Problem diagnosis and solution finding via phone, email, and remote access.
• Planning, preparation, execution, and testing of software updates and new program versions.
• Documentation of support cases, solutions, and processes.
• Conducting user training sessions.
• Support during ERP implementations, updates, and sub-projects.
• Close collaboration with development, consulting, and internal departments.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training (e.g., bookkeeping, tax clerk) or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of commercial processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll).
• Experience in IT support, user support, or ERP environment is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with CRM or ticket systems.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle) is a plus.
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
• Service and customer-oriented work style.

• Strong communication skills when dealing with users.
