Assistant Director of Prospect Management - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Director of Prospect Management will support the philanthropic goals of the OHSU Foundation by driving prospect management and tracking, prospect identification, and portfolio management and analysis for assigned partners.

• Serve as strategic partner with assigned gift officer to optimize portfolios.
• Collaborate with internal partners to implement innovative fundraising strategies.
• Monitor prospect pool and forecast.
• Provide training on the effective use of the fundraising database.
• Lead portfolio review meetings and strategy sessions.
• Conduct in-depth analysis on gift officer portfolios.
• Ensure data integrity of all information relevant to the prospect pool.
• Mentor team members on prospect management topics.
• Perform other duties in support of the foundation’s efforts.
• Recommend improvements to the prospect tracking system.

Requirements

• 5-7 years in a development research and prospect management office.
• Experience with major and principal gift strategy development.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office and relational databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to analyze data.
• Understanding of fundraising and prospect management.
• Ability to deal with confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Superior time management and organizational skills.
• Experience in healthcare or non-profit environments preferred.
