Consumer Product Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Consumer Product Manager on the Experience team, you will be directly responsible for shaping the web and mobile apps that hundreds of thousands of homeowners interface with. You will grow the company’s consumer product from strategic insights you gather, working alongside a small team of driven software developers, product designers, and marketing gurus who are hungry to make an impact on our customers and the planet.

In Short

• Build home energy savings products that connect to EVs, smart thermostats, solar, storage, and many other IoT devices.
• Build products that lower homeowner's energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
• Survey current and potential users on their needs to guide implementation of features.
• Work alongside a talented team of senior engineers.
• Prioritize our product roadmap to best meet business needs.
• Test creative outside-the-box ideas and iterate constantly.
• Interface directly with marketing to communicate features to the public.
• Continuously improve through feedback.

Requirements

• Experienced with consumer mobile and web applications.
• User-centric - always thinking about what’s best for our customers.
• Familiar with working at an early-stage, remote startup.
• Excited to work on electric vehicles, smart thermostats, and climate tech.
• Comfortable analyzing product usage data using SQL queries.
• Proficient in wireframing feature concepts using Figma.
• Experienced in sending customer emails and running A/B tests.
• Gifted in leading through influence.
• Able to collaborate effectively with engineering.
• Excellent in evaluating tradeoffs between items on the product roadmap.
