The Fractional Controller at Optima Office will oversee the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining client relationships in a flexible work environment.

  • Serve as a liaison with auditors and financial institutions.
  • Analyze financial operations for improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial statements and general ledger.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field.
  • 7-10 years of accounting experience with 3 years in a Controller role.
  • Leadership and supervisory skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with a high level of integrity.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid capacity (3 days in office).
  • Preferred: CPA or MBA, experience with QuickBooks or similar systems.
