Overview

As a Sr. Analytics Engineer at Oportun, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software/data platforms in achieving the charter of the engineering group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark and Java or Scala.
• Expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL and various database technologies.
• Experience with CICD tools like Jenkins or Airflow.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
