Financial Analyst (Remote, US)

Overview

The Financial Analyst will play a significant role in assessing financial performance and creating a risk framework at Openly, an innovator in the insurance industry.

In Short

• Assemble information for loss reserving analysis and risk benchmarking.
• Build and maintain loss reserving models.
• Support development of risk-management framework.
• Collaborate with partners to identify enterprise risks.
• Manage reporting and compliance requirements.
• Perform sensitivity analysis and stochastic modeling.
• Support efforts for BCAR and ERM Level III Accreditation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Strong data and analytical skills.
• Ability to develop machine learning models with Python.
• Experience with MS Suite and/or Google Workspace.
• Ability to influence and collaborate at various levels.
• Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
