Overview

OpenDor Media is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, experienced educator who is passionate about engaging students of diverse backgrounds in conversations around the Israeli-Palestinian story, antisemitism, Jewish history, courageous conversations, and media literacy.

• Senior educator role at ConnectED, focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and related subjects.
• Develop and modify curriculum for diverse audiences.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant classroom experience.
• Expertise in curriculum development for grades 6-12.
• Knowledgeable about core subject areas and media literacy.
• Experience facilitating discussions on complex topics.
• Familiarity with curricular frameworks like UbD and PBL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in K-12 education and relationship management.
• Tech-savvy with tools like Pardot, WordPress, and Google Suite.
• Alignment with the mission of fostering empathy and dialogue.
• Experience with independent schools is a plus.
