Overview

The work involves the responsibility for independently performing complex clerical operations and administrative support tasks. Incumbents spend a substantial amount of time operating a personal computer and the rest of the time on routine administrative tasks to ensure the efficient workflow of the office.

In Short

  • Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management.
  • Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.
  • Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities.
  • Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine typing and clerical work involving standardized clerical tasks.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of title insurance or real estate helpful.
  • Proficient on computer; typing speed of 50+ wpm.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under deadlines and to work independently.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills; accuracy/quality; detail oriented; teamwork; cooperation.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time in order to process files in a timely manner.
  • Modern office practices, procedures and equipment.
  • Telephone techniques and etiquette.
  • Record keeping and filing techniques.
  • Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary.
