OneFootball is seeking a Principal Accountant to support our Finance team in thriving and being ready for future endeavors, focusing on General Ledger accounting and providing guidance to team members.

In Short

• Responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger accounting for the group.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for German and foreign companies.
• Continuous development of processes and knowledge transfer within the team.
• Preparation of documentation required for integrated financial statements.
• Analyzing and ensuring correct representation of business facts.
• Support and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Monitoring tax deadlines and ensuring compliance.
• Technical support for new tools and automation of financial processes.
• Central contact for auditors and tax consultants.

Requirements

• Degree in business administration with focus on accounting/finance.
• Experience in preparing annual and consolidated financial statements.
• In-depth knowledge of HGB and ideally IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive problem identification and solution-oriented processing.
• Desire for continuous optimization of processes.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.
• Hands-on mentality and strong teamwork skills.
