Finance Manager, Operations - Remote

Overview

The Finance Manager, Operations will oversee all aspects of operational finance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and predictability in the financial performance of our supply chain. This role blends strategic finance, operational insight, and financial reporting.

In Short

• Lead supply chain financial management, including COGS analysis and variance reporting.
• Provide financial insights into cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to optimize costs.
• Drive co-packer performance with Operations and Engineering.
• Implement and track margin improvement initiatives.
• Refine costing models for new product development.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost accounting.
• Build financial models for scenario planning and forecasting.
• Support capital investment analysis and strategic projects.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of finance experience in cost accounting or FP&A.
• Strong background in COGS and inventory accounting.
• Experience with co-manufacturers is a plus.
• Public accounting and/or CPA preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and professional platforms.
• Up to 10% travel required for team meetings.
• Passion for improving childhood nutrition.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and develop strategies.
• Cross-functional work experience preferred.
