We are helping our client – an ambitious startup – find a talented and versatile Machine Learning Engineer to join their team. The company is transforming the life insurance industry with advanced AI and machine learning solutions, empowering insurers to become truly data-driven and make strategic, insight-based decisions at the highest corporate levels.

In Short

• Take ownership of end-to-end development impacting product and technical decisions.
• Lead feature development from concept to production.
• 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying Python-based data and ML pipelines.
• Good understanding of ML methods including feature selection and boosting classifiers.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Scikit-learn, MLflow, Pandas, and XGBoost.
• 1+ year of experience with Langchain or similar frameworks for LLMs.
• Experience with AWS cloud environment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on technical decisions.
• Ensure scalable and efficient ML infrastructure on AWS.
• Work in a friendly and professional team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Comfortable using LLM-based development tools.
• Theoretical understanding of transformers and LLM architectures.
• Advantageous: Experience with SQL databases and LLM evaluation.
