ECO Carpenter - Remote

Overview

Join our team as a Carpenter and help insulate homes with Octopus Energy ECO! We are passionate about helping vulnerable customers of lower-income by improving the insulation in their homes, to help reduce their bills and carbon emissions.

In Short

• Work as part of a two-person team, installing insulation (IWI) in customers homes.
• Gain new skills in fitting wall insulation inside homes.
• Collaborate with Electricians and Heating Engineers to deliver energy-efficient homes.
• Troubleshoot and offer solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Ensure exceptional customer service—no home left without delivering on our promises.
• Work out of our warehouses in Newton Aycliffe, Sheffield & Nottingham.
• Travel across the UK with nights away, when required.

Requirements

• Experience in all types of plastering, skimming, boarding and bonding.
• A full clean driving licence.
• Desirable but not essential: Experience in woodwork, trimming doors, skirting, and dado rails.
• Installing trickle vents, drilling core holes for extractor fans, and solid wall insulation (IWI).
• Familiarity with ECO is a plus!
