Overview

The Remote Medication Access Specialist assists providers by ensuring patients' compliance with medications and facilitates the medication authorization process, while maintaining accurate medication history information.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in pharmacy or healthcare.
• Medication Therapy Management Certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in computer and web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical mathematics.
• Ability to operate standard pharmacy and office equipment.
• Experience with insurance for medication authorizations preferred.
• Experience with outpatient clinics is a plus.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
