Discipline Network Leader (DNL) Furnace - Remote

Overview

We are currently seeking our future Discipline Network Leader (DNL) Furnace. The Network team, consisting of about ten people and reporting to the OCM (Operational Capability Manager) South West Europe, provides expertise to the factories in the Country Group France/Spain on the entire glass manufacturing process to maintain and develop skills, improve safety, quality, performance, and reduce costs and breakdowns.

In Short

• Lead projects to improve working conditions and safety.
• Support Energy teams in implementing best practices to reduce furnace consumption.
• Develop and implement operational excellence procedures and practices.
• Facilitate and strengthen the network of Plant Network Leaders.
• Enhance and develop the skills of factory personnel.
• Collaborate with factory teams to address furnace operation and glass quality issues.
• Stay informed about new technologies in our installations.
• Work with other DNLs and the Engineering team on new industrial projects.

Requirements

• Technical degree with recognized expertise in glass furnace melting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, and decision-making ability.
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time; remote work possible.
