• Looking for a Principal Data Engineer & Architect to evolve and scale Nuitée’s data platform.
• Own high-volume data pipelines for global hotel inventory, pricing, and transaction data.
• Hands-on role in architecture and implementation within an existing data organization.
• Evaluate current platform architecture (Google BigQuery) and strengthen data modeling.
• Establish scalable patterns for reusable data products across business domains.
• Start as an individual contributor and progressively build and lead a data engineering team.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to power reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data quality and governance across the data pipelines.
• Partner with stakeholders to map business processes to data sources.
• Identify hiring needs and develop a team of data engineers as Nuitée scales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in data engineering/data architecture in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on data platform builder with architectural vision.
• Experience with SQL modeling and dbt or equivalent.
• Distributed data pipelines and orchestration experience.
• Experience tuning and scaling BigQuery or cloud warehouses.
• Strong communication skills to explain trade-offs and guide best practices.
• Solid grounding in data quality frameworks and observability.
• Experience in B2B platforms or travel distribution datasets is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, dbt, Airflow, MySQL, MongoDB is a plus.
