Maintenance Journeyman - Remote

Overview

The Maintenance Journeyman is responsible for planning, organizing, and performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and construction activities in assigned University buildings; providing a safe and functional environment to accommodate the needs of University staff, students, and visitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Five years of skilled experience in construction and maintenance trades.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work cooperatively with various departments.
• Skills in organizing and completing projects.
• Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Understanding of building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to accommodate schedules and timeline requirements.
