Overview

The Academic and Finance Advisor (AFA) serves as a student’s key point of contact, providing in-depth, quality service to students from the time they enter the first course until they graduate.

• Serve as primary contact for students from enrollment to graduation.
• Provide academic and financial support via phone, email, text, and chat.
• Assist students in overcoming challenges to graduation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and timely responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• One year of experience in advising or customer service required.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Strong customer service and conflict management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of financial aid programs and university policies.
• Ability to work well in teams and advocate for students.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
