NRTC is Member Driven and Technology Focused – providing solutions that help our 1,500 electric and telephone members bring all the advantages of today's evolving technology to rural America. NRTC's solutions are developed specifically to meet the needs of rural utilities and their customers, and include integrated broadband, managed services, smart grid, mobile and video solutions. We are a dynamic, growing cooperative with more than 800 employees operating out of eight office locations. We are looking to add experienced staff to our Smart Grid team to help our utility cooperative members develop smart grid technology roadmaps. Our approach is to educate and support our members as we work with them through a consultative process.

• Leverage experience with electric cooperatives to develop smart grid technology roadmaps.
• Responsible for creating strategic and financial plans related to smart grid technologies.
• Analyze data from smart grid devices and publicly available information.
• Collaborate with NRTC experts to develop technology roadmaps.
• Translate knowledge through financial analysis and business cases.
• Assist in management and delivery of smart grid technology roadmap projects.
• Become a thought leader in smart grid technologies and analytics.
• Create and present compelling stories in presentation format.
• Stay current on smart grid technologies and provide insights.
• Assist in prospecting and deployment of Smart Grid solutions.

Requirements

• Exceptional leadership skills and professionalism.
• Ability to create high-level electric utility financial models.
• Self-driven and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written, analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time/project management and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• 5+ years of experience with smart grid technology.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, finance, or equivalent.
