Internal Auditor - Remote

Overview

As an Internal Auditor at NRC Health, you will assist the Audit Committee in managing the internal audit function, focusing on Internal Audit and SOX compliance.

In Short

• Manage the annual SOX 404 program in compliance with PCAOB and SEC requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls documentation.
• Communicate audit results through reports and presentations.
• Align with external auditors for efficiency in audits.
• Work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization.
• Identify issues and dig for details when needed.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Support the Audit Committee in managing the internal audit function.
• Participate in the development of risk assessment and testing of controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, accounting or finance preferred; CPA or CIA required.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in external or internal audit.
• Experience in developing and maintaining controls for compliance with Section 404.
• Strong understanding of PCAOB standards, SEC requirements, and COSO Framework.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
