Application Project Manager - Remote

Overview

NOVIPRO, a consulting firm specializing in information technology and recruitment, is mandated by a manufacturing company for an ambitious digital transformation program. This organization is looking to fill a strategic role of Application Project Manager to support the next phase of multi-site technology deployment.

In Short

• Permanent full-time position
• Hybrid work model requiring presence two days a week in Drummondville or Longueuil
• 39 hours per week, between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM
• Desired start in mid-August
• Potential travel to the Plattsburg (NY) factory

Responsibilities

• Lead the next phase of the integration of the Infor Syteline ERP, ensuring its optimization and complete multi-site implementation
• Supervise the future integration of complementary solutions, including CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
• Direct planning, coordination, and control of resources, scopes, risks, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee project governance through committee structures, tracking mechanisms, and performance indicators
• Collaborate closely with business units, IT, external experts, and technology partners
• Ensure integration consistency between systems, both functionally and technically
• Facilitate follow-up meetings, write reports, and ensure fluent communication in French and English
• Manage ambiguity, uncertainty, and interdependencies within a matrix organization
• Demonstrated experience in integrated management of key project parameters: defining functional scope, resource allocation, schedule management, and proactive risk management.

Requirements

• University degree in information technology, project management, or industrial engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, including several large-scale projects in a complex manufacturing context
• Proven expertise in leading major solutions in a matrix environment
• Solid understanding of industrial processes: manufacturing, logistics, planning, inventory
• Experience with ERP, PLM, or CPQ solutions – knowledge of Infor SyteLine is a major asset
• Mastery of methodological frameworks (PMBOK, Agile, or hybrid) – PMP certification or equivalent (asset)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to unite diverse stakeholders, influence, and navigate in ambiguous contexts
