Asset Manager Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Asset Manager Analyst supports Novel Energy Solutions (“NES”) growing pipeline of operating solar assets. This position will support the Asset Manager by being the secondary point of contact for multiple assets, each with their own unique obligations and contracts. The Asset Manager Analyst will help ensure that NES operates with superior operational and technical performance as well as reliability, profitability, contract compliance, decision making, problem solving, regulatory compliance, and safety.

In Short

• Support daily monitoring and reporting of system performance.
• Manage and fulfill contractual obligations.
• Create and deliver reports of key KPIs to asset owners.
• Upload and deliver RECs into PJM GATs.
• Liaise with O&M team to improve system production and uptime.
• Assist Accounts Receivable team with invoice generation, collections, and reconciliations.
• Communicate with third parties such as vendors, off takers, subscribers, and utilities.
• Collaborate with SCADA supplier and O&M team for new and existing assets.
• Provide technical support to site operations.
• Analyze production data for operating solar farms.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in a relevant STEM or Business field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior renewable energy experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• In-depth knowledge of solar and storage generating facilities.
• Familiarity with energy financing structures.
• Experience with solar production monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of legal contracts and accounting principles.
• Creation of regular reports or dashboards.
