Overview

The Inside Sales Representative works closely with sales colleagues within the Precision Medicine and Manufacturing / Photonics business unit, ensuring effective and efficient customer development and support, primarily in Germany and Austria.

In Short

  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers through proactive communication and excellent customer service.
  • Identify and pursue revenue growth opportunities with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers for customer support.
  • Manage sales contracts focusing on contract creation and execution.
  • Create demand requests and sales opportunities.
  • Prepare quotes, including quote management.
  • Monitor sales activities and customer interactions using Salesforce.
  • Maintain customer master data in CRM and Salesforce.
  • Manage business relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Co-responsibility for order processing according to guidelines.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or degree, preferably with a commercial or sales focus.
  • Relevant work experience is desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and ideally CRM/Salesforce experience.
  • Confident and professional personality with a high customer orientation.
  • Enjoyment of telephone communication and a passion for sales.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; other languages are a plus.
  • Goal-oriented, flexible, and highly self-motivated.
  • Organizational talent and strong communication skills, especially in interfacing between departments.
  • Strong team player.
